• When Life Hands You Scraps ~ Make a Quilt!" Sorting Out Reality and Finding Relief

My Aunt Norma has boxes full of scraps of material. Most of us would see these scraps as something that we would throw away, use to dust, or wash a car. However, my Aunt sees them as "great potential." She meticulously stitches each piece together, one by one, inch by inch. Over time and with great patience and skill, the pieces of material become a square or quilted block. Each block is then sewn together and once all of the squares are pieced together, a batting and backing added, they form a beautiful quilt.

I believe that much like my Aunt Norma ~ We are seen as "great potential." Each one of us is born with a purpose, with great talents, skills, and abilities that need to be carefully and patiently stitched together to form our character.

However, sometimes patience isn't our best virtue. We are constantly being challenged with changes in our lives from personal changes of marriage, children, divorce, relationships, and career focus, which is sometimes NOT our choice.

Life can be a real pressure cooker of unrealistic expectations and as we grow, each stitch of our quilt of life is carefully sewn so that we will recognize our potential and purpose in life.

This presentation will help you realize how your crazy quilt of life can become a work of art, love, joy, peace, patience, self-control and inspire you to create your own masterpiece.
